We know that the #FirstFiveYears of a child's life are full of wonder and excitement, and learning will never be this easy for them again. Yesterday, our brand celebrated a major milestone – the launch of our immersive, multi-channel brand campaign that embodies our Balanced Learning® approach and captures the excitement of this important time through the eyes of a child. Our mission to forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children has guided us for over 40 years. From our industry-leading Balanced Learning® curriculum to innovation in the classroom and beyond, we’re helping to make a difference in the lives of children and families every day. 🎓 Balanced Learning We partnered with early education experts to design a STEM-based, research-informed learning approach from the ground up. It uses purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers to tap into children’s natural learning processes. 📚 Classroom Experience In Primrose schools, learning is play and play is learning. Everything in the classroom, including toys, books and even furniture, is purposefully selected to be developmentally appropriate for each age. Teachers use these resources to create experiences that inspire children to think in new and bigger ways. 🌟 The Primrose Friends Primrose school teachers incorporate character development throughout each day. One way they do this is with the Primrose Friends, twelve classroom puppets that help children learn about compassion, creativity, gratitude and honesty. 🏠 School-to-Home Connection A high-quality early education program should go beyond the school by supporting children and families at home. Primrose school teachers do this in many ways, including sending home activities related to classroom lessons. They also partner with families using resources like Ages & Stages Questionnaires® to identify a child’s strengths and opportunities then personalize learning experiences to meet the child’s needs. 🫶 Community Impact Through Primrose Promise℠ Giving Events, students experience the joy of giving without expectation as they collect books, raise money and donate food to those in need. The Primrose Schools Children’s Foundation® takes efforts even further and has contributed more than $5 million to child-focused organizations such as No Kid Hungry® and Save the Children®. Under the inspirational leadership of CEO Jo Kirchner, Primrose Schools has achieved remarkable growth while remaining true to our mission. Thank you to all the schools, Franchise Owners and #PrimroseTeachers who made our Professional Development Day such a huge success! Primrose schools across seven cities hosted more than 3,000 teachers for a Professional Development Day of skill building and networking. The groups also had the opportunity to give back to their communities with activities like assembling 250 backpacks for local children in need. Teachers truly make all the difference, and we’re honored to have their partnership as we forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
