B Fabulous BBQ & Catering

Found this place from a list of recommended caterers, And wanted to try it out. Came here around 7pm on a Monday night. This place is a hidden gem!

Starting off there are so so many options for BBQ lovers and people that may have more limited tastes. They offer classic smoked meats, salads, fried chicken, sandwiches and some more creative options like BBQ nachos, brisket Mac and cheese, bomber-ritos (a variety of meats, hash browns,cheddar, jalapeño corn, your choice of sauce wrapped in a tortilla) and taco fabuloso (what we ordered pictured)

The prices are a STEAL for the amount and quality of what you get. BBQ definitely adds up and can hurt your wallet, but that is not the case here. The tacos has a GENEROUS amount of pulled pork, flavorful, tender, and juicy. We stopped off just for a snack, and I was full after 1!

In regards to their catering, I've heard nothing but great things and they've won several awards. Unlike some catering companies, they are transparent about their prices and it's a fantastic deal! Not going to break the bank no matter what type of event you're having.

I will be back and I'm hungry for more!

For a small town place this place has out of this world BBQ. I would have never expected it to be this good but it's outward clean pleasant appearance is what brought me into the establishment. I'm happy that I stopped and if trucking ever brings me back I will be stopping in again!

PS. You have to get the Ham Ball! Mmm mmm mmm!!

Best barbecue around! Lots of craft beers and a fun atmosphere. Their beans are so good!

Nice decor, friendly staff. Family friendly. Clean. Ok prices. Smells wonderful when you enter. Plenty of parking. Problem was that we got take out and the prime rib, French dip and fries had all melted into the styrofoam containers. Also the "au jus" was just plain fat from the meat. There wasn't any more than 5% juice in the container. It was like a tasteless oil slick. They can easily get these things fixed. When most restaurants have very hot foods they put foul in the styrofoam container before the food so that plastic doesn't contaminate the food. And skim off the oil before dishing out any broth. I will be back to give them a second chance.

Outstanding! We had four couples eating here. Service was super quick! Seems everyone had something different. The BBQ was very good. Others had brisket and fried chicken. They offer numerous sides. I had potato salad and baked beans, which were just fine. But, the brocolli salad, fresh fruit salad, and curly fries looked amazing, as well. Needless to say, we will go back and maybe try the other items. The decor is neat. I really enjoyed the artwork and the variety of tables and chairs in the restaurant. Looked like vintage furnishings. They have ample seating outside, as well.

Stopped to try it out... brisket it great: flavorful, moist, pulled pork: moist though lacked flavor and no smoke, turkey: breast, good and moist. Entrees come with bread/corn muffin. Corn and Mac cheese good though more cheese is needed. Beans good with pulled pork though like thicker sauce.

Kids meal is $4.95 though doesn't include corn and Mac cheese side as option which is usually a staple. Chicken strips was hoping for house made since on the adult menu though weren't. This was a kiss and parents frequently try kids entree and restaurant serves fried chicken.

9 sauces of wide variety: Alabama white mayo base; Carolina vinegar very thin and lacked much more flavor then the base and heat. Auburn hottie is owners favorite and mine too followed by remix mustard mix with heat. Didn't try the hottest two sauces.

Great to have in a small town on a busy intersection. Worth a try if passing though or want somewhere new locally.

I've given this place a shot several times. Never again, the BBQ is always reheated so it's dry and tough. Most good BBQ places smoke their meats in the morning and sell it until its gone each day. This place keeps the meats for several days in the cooler. And, to top it off the prices are high for the portions. I know Iowa is not BBQ capitol USA but save your money. Try to find a place that's fresh.

Great food! Excellent smoked meats and the best bbq sauce you will find in the U.S.!

Today, B-Fabulous had their food truck outside of Casey's on South Duff and Crystal Street. My husband and I decided to give it a try. :) I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was wonderful! I just couldn't bear to sauce the delightfully smoky meat with anything. My husband ordered the tender and juicy burger. You can taste the love in every bite.

As soon as we arrived to work this evening, we let our boss and everyone at the meeting know about this wonderful little gem just down HWY69.

I can't wait to visit their Huxley location!

Wow I find it so awful that places can be like this. I have an African American friend and we had to LEAVE because he felt uncomfortable in this establishment. It's awful.
