Cardboard Boat Regatta - Ankeny SummerFest 2018

Registration day of the event starting at 1 PM

Parent waiver required

Design and build a person-powered corrugated cardboard boat that is capable of racing or at least floating. Organize your friends, neighbors or co-workers for an afternoon of fun.

1PM Registration and Check-in - 2PM Races Start

Age Groups

7-10 years old
11-14 years old
15- 17 years old
Adult (18+)
Corporate Entry

Awards

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes will be awarded to each group.
"Most Creative Award" given for best design and use of cardboard
"Titanic Award" given for most notable sinking.

Other Information

Costumes for the crew (and all Land Crew) and decorations on the boat are encouraged. Bring a large cheerleading squad.
Enter your boat in the SummerFest parade if you want.
